"I started from nothing, not knowing anything or even how to enter pro rodeos.. It wasn't easy, but it made me who I am today, all the things I have been through."
From an early age, Cory Solomon knew he would be a professional roper. As a child he was once kicked out of school for roping a kid in his class. The kid bet him that he couldn't rope him and Cory told him if starting running that he would show him. No gold buckle was won that day but the boy left with a rope burn and Cory was asked to leave the daycare.
As an adult, when you ask Cory what he would be doing if he wasn't rodeoing, he would tell you he would be helping kids in some way with rodeo or in life in general. His passion for motivating kids comes from his childhood experiences of being told he wouldn't reach his goals. Cory believes it's important to show support to any child with a dream.
